Like a child who has discovered a new toy, this information will open up a whole new world of awe and wonder for you.

This is the first photo of the 5.0-liter all-aluminum beatin' concern of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT that'll pump at a rockin' 412 HP and 390 lb-ft of torque. Merry Christmas. More below.

We're told the 5.0-liter motor will be mated to a 6R80 six-velocity vehicle or MT82 physical transmission. We're pregnant we'll have more niceties up as shortly as the prohibit actually breaks at the creation of this imminent week. For the jiffy - well - let's just say many Bothans at MustangHeaven and BurlappCars died to take you these two photos.

Today's sports cars make 100 MPH feel like you're standing still. That means you can drive faster than ever. Giving into that urge is only natural. Here's why.

Learning about this subject will help you more in the long run than you may realize, until the time comes when you really need it.

I live to drive swift. Don't suppose me? I approved up a honest career one with respectability, a fat income, and strength assurance to write about cars. But that letters is just an pardon to drive the swiftest cars in the world on good paths and great racetracks and have somebody moreover pay for it.
Do I skip the pleasant house, the savings account, and the closet sated of suits? I do when I'm with backwards from one hundred while a doctor draws purple position on my skin, or when I'm meeting by the aspect of the path contemplating jail time by the glow of sporadic red light. But those effects are shoved aaspect by adrenaline when I bear off a congested highway and see a "curves before" precursor.

energetic swift is unsafe, criminal, and irresponsible. institute dictates that you shouldn't do it, but car manufacturers push swifter and more strong cars every year. Twenty time ago, the swiftest car in the world, the Ferrari F40, made 471 HP. Now you can buy a four-door Cadillac with almost 100 HP more. People want swift cars because lashing swift is unsafe, criminal and irresponsible. In a union plagued by demurless conformity, the anxiety of attempt, and the critical must to bare Preaspectnt Obama's birth certificate, cars supply an tranquil way to experience jeopardy and influence.

The jeopardy inherent in swift lashing is different from the attempt you run as you tool back and onward to work and Wal-sale. It's not "a car might run a light and hit me today," or "this overpass could give way and dribble me into a canal." It's "if I screw up, I'm open to die." One is passive, the other is active. The difference between the two is the difference between presented and living.

If you liked the first section of this article, stay tuned because we have more to follow in the next section!

In a nutshell, that's the key. That must to apply influence over your own fatality is primeval in features, the remaining relic of monkey heritage in the upright ape's demur. Man's ancestors didn't hike out of the forest because we could run swifter or prick stronger than our relatives  we're single because we use tools. What is a car if not the worst tool? What is lashing swift if not with that tool to the satedest magnitude of its future tenacity?

When Karl Benz insisted that a steed wasn't swift enough and sham a way to do better, he was solving his dilemma by creating a tool. Michael Schumacher isn't rebearing to Formula One because his wiener-schnitzel furnish is operation low; he's open back because being lacking challenge bores him. When I marker this slice, I'm open to hike out of my house, climb into an Audi S5, and momentum, all because it's my features to do so. I'm repentant, executive  I just can't help myself.

Chevrolet Camaro SS To Pace 2010 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race

Officials from Chevrolet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway unveiled the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Indianapolis 500 Pace Car at the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum Dec. 18.
"We've enjoyed a great partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway throughout the years, and are proud to once again have the privilege of pacing the Indianapolis 500 in a Camaro," said Jim Campbell, General Manager, Chevrolet.

This year's pace car features an Inferno Orange Metallic paint scheme with White Diamond rally stripes that travel from the front to the rear over the top of the body, as well as extending to the interior dash. To celebrate the final production year of the current generation Dodge Viper SRT10, Dodge plans to deliver a vehicle lineup like no other since the introduction of the iconic American sports car in 1992.

Make a list of what you want to know, what you need to know, and what you already know about this subject.

At the spirit of the 2010 move beast SRT10 ashes the revered 8.4-liter (510 cu. in.) V-10 engine that produces 600 (450 kW) horsestrength and 560 lb.-ft. (760 N.m) of torque. scale performance figures, counting 0-60 mph in minus than 4 backs, lodge-mile time in the mid 11-back span and 0-100-0 mph in 11 backs total, and a top velocity of 202 mph, linger to attest how the sober, battle-inspired, lane-official two-seater performs lacking regret.

Body luxury offerings linger unchanged with the availability of Roadster and auto brands along with the ACR (American bludgeon Racer) envelope. Approximately 500 vehicles will be built for the 2010 brand year.

With the introduction of two new outside flag-poisonous Ospan treasure Coat and brainy Silver tinny acquit Coat move the Viper SRT10 is now existing in 12 different flag - the most evenly existing choices in one brand year. And with six strip options in the new wider configuration, five different interior affect combinations, four different sweep choices and three existing interior bezels; the 2010 beast SRT10 will be existing in more than 7,600 combinations-the most for any one brand year-significantly adding to the exclusivity of each car like never before.

For the rest of this article, we will discuss the meaning behind what we have learned about this subject so far.

New across the beast lineup is a condenseder fifth gear ratio (altering from 0.74 to 0.80) for imattestd high-velocity acceleration and upper straightaway velocitys. Acceleration from 0-200 mph has imattestd by 14 backs. This imattestment is a manage findings of the Chrysler Group LLC avenue and Racing Technology band's experience at the 12.9-mile Nurburgring Nordschleife trip in Germany where during the lap-trace run in 2008, it was found that a revised gear ratio would have findingsed in upper top gear acceleration and a nearer lap time.

The beast SRT10 channels its strength through a ZF Sachs twin-recording grip that reduces rotating inertia by 18 percent, reduces grip-pedal sweat and imattests engagement feel. Transferring strength to the rear sweeps is a minder-function six-velocity physical transmission.

Stopping strength is another prudently urbanized part of the beast SRT10 equation, with 14-crawl brake rotors engrossed by Brembo 44/40 dual-opposed piston calipers in the front and Brembo 42/38 dual-opposed calipers in the rear. This structure findingss in world-brand braking performance of 60-0 mph in minus than 100 feet.

Interior affect options for 2010 embrace: norm black, two-tone black and red with red accent edging, two-tone black and azure with azure accent edging, two-tone black and method schedule grey with method schedule grey accent edging and the two-tone black and true tan with premium tan Nappa leather seats, tan core console, lessen instrument panel and door panels introduced for the 2009 brand year. On the Roadster brand, the black and tan envelope embraces a matching tan cloth convertible top.

beast SRT10 ACR

The move beast SRT10 ACR receives a new condensed-fling shifter in 2010 for enhanced driver experience and better performance. The rear wing profile and end plates are redesigned to extend optimize the vehicle aerodynamics and imattest rear yaw downforce. These changes joint with the new fifth gear ratio findings in an improved top velocity of 4 mph (to 184 mph for the ACR brand).

The enhanced four-sweep independent suspension skin high-performance aluminum limit arms and knuckles, KW suspension with two-way adjustable competition twist-over shock absorbers with faint reservoirs.

The aerodynamic envelope skin a carbon roughage fanged splitter in front and adjustable carbon-roughage wing with seven-attitude stanchions that tolerate up to an amazing 1,000 lbs. of downforce at 150 mph. Lightweight sweeps, two-section slotted StopTech brake rotors and Michelin PS Cup tires about out the move beast ACR envelope.

New singular, narrow-magazine Models

several exclusive, partial-magazine brands are intended for the 2010 brand year, counting the move beast ACR 1:33 journal, which will pay esteem to the new production car lap trace set on Nov. 24 at Laguna Seca battleway. The exclusive two-tone Black acquit Coat/Red acquit Coat outside affect machinate on this brand is the opposed form of the previous beast ACR. Interior highlights embrace piano black console bezels with red gauge highlights complemented with red accent edging in the seats. Only 33 cars will be bent as 1:33 journal beast ACR brands.

The 2010 Vooodoo-magazine beast ACR will item an all Black acquit Coat outside with a Graphite Driver's hoop outlined in red. Only 10 cars will be bent with the exclusive striping on both the outside, as well as on the steering sweep.

Additional exclusive magazine brands will be announced quicker to their individual introductions. Pricing on the 2010 move beast lineup also will be announced at a later court.

No matter which way you look at it, having a firm understanding of this topic will benefit you, even if it is just slightly.

Truck was created from the lack-carrying Christmas lights and a generator in his truck to a church, and combine them eventually become "the Christmas truck" Kris Marshall said "it's a hideous site in the daylight, there's black tape and wires in the daytime." But at night it's amazing"

It's a hit around Dallas and Polk Counties in Iowa, where Marshall is a GMC truck salesman. He often pulls hayrides and drives in parades around the holiday seasons. he put 50 until 70 strings with a mixture of 50 and 100 lights each, and it just the cheap $0,89 strings and no LEDs.

Sometimes he gots trouble with the cops, it's totally illegal but almost all the cops are cool with that, but not all of them, but anyway salute for Kris Marshall, which has been brisk this holiday, although in a simple way

Guys ,

Long time no post. Last night took a few photo of my turbo setup. You may find evo 4 radiator fan had been replaced my original radiator. And the evo radiator fan can help to save some space that allow to reroute the intercooler piping. And i also build a heat resist cover for the turbo unit to prevent heat splashing.

New 3.7-liter V-6 engine
With Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) operating its four valves per cylinder to deliver its power and economy, the new Mustang V-6 powerplant sends significantly more horsepower and torque (305 hp and 280 ft.-lb.) to the rear wheels than its predecessor – despite its smaller displacement. The behind-the-wheel feel is unlike any Mustang ever produced.

The 2011 Ford Mustang puts 305 high-performance horses in the hands of V-6 coupe buyers with a new all-aluminum dual-overhead cam (DOHC) engine that delivers a projected 30 mpg on the highway with a six-speed automatic transmission, all-aluminium it's means light weight for the car performance.

Ti-VCT is complemented by special-tuned composite upper and lower intake manifolds for efficient air delivery and lighter weight. Ignition power is delivered by a high-energy coil-on-plug design, while piston-cooling jets and a lightweight die-cast aluminum cylinder block improve the durability and efficiency of the 3.7-liter V-6 design.

The Mustang buyers choosing the new V-6 will also get a standard limited-slip differential (LSD) that provides better handling and more grip in bad weather conditions by directing engine torque to the rear wheel with the most traction. When the time comes to slow things down, the 2011 Mustang is also equipped with larger four-wheel ABS disc brakes, with 11.5 inch front and 11.8 inch rear rotors.

An Orange ford F100 owned by Thomas Cronemark a pro truck Driver from Sweden, he is in charge of the Paddock on any Wednesday evening during the race season. He is a local member too of drag racers club called SRIF.

His interest in smaller trucks started when an employee at his dad's trucking company pulled in with a '72 El Camino and parked right in front of a then 17-year-old Thomas. Through another member he heard about a 1950s Ford pickup that had been parked in a garage for a few years. the 50's ford F100 that had been imported from US in 1996 and had a new interior and beautifull paint job by Harley Davidson in Sweden.

but he's not Satisfied with the power and handling, Thomas decided to fix a few cracks on the chassis, replaced all four fenders, made the headers, 2-inch exhaust, and install a Heidts Mustang II frontend with the help of his friend Joakim Ljungberg, the owner of Vallkra Motorsport

With Erland Cox the Sweden's leading expert, of course one of his buddies in SRIF club, he change the engine block and built more .potent powerplant based on ford 427 after the the valve gave up and busted a head.

And for the bodywork He just settled for a new grille, shiny bumpers, and painted mirrors, plus aftermarket brake lights and for the weels he decided to put a set of 17 - inch Bullitt Mustang
and check out the result

Volo Auto Museum

this museum was born from the love of a family to a classic cars, In 1960, William Grams moved his family to a 30-acre dairy farm in Volo, Illinois and established a used-furniture business. Eventually, the property and the business would evolve to become the Volo Auto Museum

William and his two sons, Greg and Bill, loved to tinker with old cars. Bill's first car was a 1929 Packard Coupe that he purchased at a junkyard and restored to showroom condition. Greg was 12 when his father bought him a Ford Model-T for $30. While Bill was away at Monmouth University, William and Greg started buying up junk cars. Soon, the family's uninsulated, gravel-floored warehouse was packed with pre-war cars and parts.

camaro-concept-front
camaro-concept-rear

The Chevrolet Camaro concept was the celebrated star of the 2006 auto show season, The introduction of the Camaro convertible concept was on the eve of the North American International Auto Show at GM Style, an exclusive, fashion-splashed event combining celebrities, couture and automobiles. But this concept car launches on the market on early 2009 GM isn't saying yet what engine options the Camaro will initially have, but, like the Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang, it will ultimately be available with smaller V6s, not just big V8s.

The big V8 engines will be the headline feature just as they always have been for cars like this. But GM expects expects most Camaros it sells will be fitted with V6 engines. While buyers might like its performance-car looks, many won't really want the performance car fuel-economy or the performance car insurance premiums.

The design on the new camaro is terrific. It goes Back to the old muscle car style. The Camaro convertible concept shares exterior dimensions with the Camaro concept, although the convertible concept's windshield surround, which features a bright anodized finish, is changed slightly to accommodate the convertible top. Additional design details include:

  • Tonneau cover over the folded top
  • "Halo" headlamps
  • LED taillamps
  • Rear spoiler with LED-lit CHMSL
  • Racing-inspired fuel filler door
  • Front-inlet hood scoop, inspired by the Corvette Z06
  • Heritage-inspired rear fender "gills"
  • Anodized aluminum door handles
  • Bold 21-inch (front) and 22-inch (rear) wheels, with accent color

As with the Camaro coupe concept, the convertible concept features an instrument panel inspired by first-generation Camaros, including an intricate "round-gauges-in-square-holes" design. The gauges have a deep, three-dimensional appearance, with white faces and red pointers.

A wonderful time in the Summer. The sun shine everyday., the weather temperature fell warm, it is good for us, but be carefull, take a look the engine cooler system on your car, If your car is overheating, getting the issue figured out is critical. Why? Heat destroys engines and that will eventually destroy your bank account.

Really think about what that name is describing. “Combustion” is the key word and is entirely accurate. The engine produces power to the wheels of your vehicle through small explosions. In most cases, this occurs when gasoline and air are introduced to a spark. This sets off a small explosion that pushes a piston down and that turns a shaft. These explosions happen many times a second and each produces a lot of heat. The level of heat is sufficient to melt parts of the engine if the heat is not removed. This is why any overheating problem needs to be identified and dealt with quickly.

  • The first step is to check the easiest thing. Wait for your car to cool down and then pop the radiator cap. Do you have sufficient coolant in the system? It sounds simple, but it is often the problem particularly on older cars. If you are low on coolant, please give an attention for this one, do not simply add water. Take the car and get a full coolant change. Cooling systems require a combined water and engineered coolant mixture to function properly. Now this is a good time to replace the coolant fluid.
  • The second issue to check is the water pump. A water pump that is going bad will usually let you know by sounding like a punk band playing in a blender. It isn’t pretty. If the pump seems alright, check the belt powering it for any wear issues. A belt that looks fine, can still slip so look for a soft, flat shiny surface. If none of these issues appear to be present, it is time to move to the next issue.
  • The thermostat is a misunderstood part of the coolant system. It is not there to cool the car. It performs the opposite function. Why would you want to heat up your engine? Well, the engine needs to be running between a certain temperature range. When you first start your car, the engine is too cold. To heat it up, the thermostat cuts down the flow of coolant through the engine. When the engine heats up, the thermostat stops restricting the flow from the radiator. Thermostats go bad occasionally, which can result in the flow of coolant being restricted. In a warmed up engine, this can easily lead to overheating. The only solution is to replace the thermostat.
  • The final step is to check the pressure cap on the radiator. If it go wrong, it will let pressurized coolant escape while the car is running. This will mess up the balance of the coolant system and will definitely lead to overheating. You can just run the engine with the hood open and look for any coolant escape. It will usually make a sound as well as the pressurized material tries to squeeze through the gap in the gasket. Fortunately, a new pressure cap costs under $20 on most cars.

if you still have overheating problem after doing above steps, you need to go to the mechanic. The coolant system runs through the engine, so there could be a host of problems. Identifying the exact problem will require some expensive testing mechanisms, it is time to get the mechanic help.

I was thinking about having a Muscle Car when i was 12, I like Muscle Cars from the first sight when I saw American action movies, they always ride it, American is a country that deserves to be an examples, they love their domestic product and one of the examples is the Muscle Cars, with the huge machines the sounds and horsepower is so beautiful, I realized is almost imposible for a kid to ride a muscle cars and the otherside it's very hard to get one of them in my country, because i'm living far far away from United States, the land of the real muscle cars made.

Cause I haven't been able to have, I decided to make a scrapbook, a scrapbook images of Muscle Cars according to my desire, i took it from magazine or any other resources, and I label this scrapbook the famous top ten Muscle Cars, and this is my top ten Muslce Cars list:

A car hood originally meant a head covering either attached to a cloak or a coat or even sometimes made as a separate garment. In the earlier years of car manufacturing a car hood resembled in shape a garment hood. It no longer does so. Actually it has undergone many changes. Different materials have been used for making a car hood. These are steel, aluminum, glass fiber, or carbon fiber.

Other than to protect the Machine, a car hood has to be strong. Carbon fiber has the advantage that despite being light it is quite strong. Being light is also advantageous. The overall weight of the car is reduced if you use a carbon fiber Mustang hood. As a consequence lesser power is required for driving a car. This results in economy of running expenses. The carbon fiber hood is, therefore, becoming more and more acceptable. Since a car hood is located just above the front wheels, the weight on front wheels is much less if a carbon fiber hood is used. It gives better balance to the car and driving becomes easier and it is important for muscle car like Mustang.

Secondly, a car owner can also make a style statement with a carbon fiber Mustang hood. Carbon fiber can be designed in a variety of shapes. Open and split from the middle, or The car can be given a look as per the owner’s choice, whether it is a racing car look or an aggressive look. Carbon fiber hood is available in a number of colors. If you do not like any of the colors, you can have it painted as per your choice. The hood can have vents to allow the outside air to cool the engine. A cooler engine is more efficient than a hot engine.

A Mustang is a car with the big engine and they have heavy weight, if you want to reduce the weight, carbon fiber hood is the right option for this purpose.

I always tell my parents that I was born during the wrong era. I think the ideal era in which to live was my parents' era:

They were kids in the 40's- before radio, and electronic toys.  When playing outside was what you did, and not punishment for messing up the house.  Limited only by your imagination, you were whatever you wanted to be: a king, a famous explorer, or a famous radio personality.  Ah, the radio.  I used to listen to Mystery Theater on AM radio as a kid.  I did that because I was drawn by the stories of my parents listening to scary radio programs like The Shadow.  I've never even heard the show and I can repeat this from memory:  "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?  The Shadow knows."  Well, they were right; the scary monster I imagined on Mystery Theater was scarier than anything I ever saw on television.  Why?  Because it  was specifically created in my mind and tailored to what I found frightening...not by some tool in Hollywood.  My dad would ride his bike to the Fox Theater to see the Lew King Ranger Show, then would go across the street to an arcade and spend whatever he had left of the dollar that his mom gave him.  Mom wasn't allowed to ride her bike all over hell's half acre, she was probably better off for it.

They were teenagers in the 50's- cruising Central Avenue, Bob's Big Boy, sock hops with The Stroll playing, hot rods and customs, and (what this post is ultimately about) Drive-Ins.

They were in their 20's in the 60's- what a great time to be a young adult.  Politically, there was so much going on.  Voting rights, human rights, the Kennedys, Martin Luther King, the beginning of Viet Nam, the Lunar landing.  The world was changing quickly, and they were old enough to understand it, yet young enough to be motivated to be involved.

They were in their 30's in the 70's- the last of the great eras.  The 70's, in my opinion, was the last vestige of simple and uncomplicated times.  My parents had two young boys by then, and they could let them disappear every summer morning at the crack of dawn, as along as they were within earshot at dusk to hear, "Chris....Matt, Dinner."  Of course that call was always met with a, "Five more minutes, Mom"

One of the things that I really feel that I missed out on was the golden age of the Drive-In Theater.  Sure we went when we were in high school.  But I always felt that I had completely missed the dance.  When my parents went to the drive-in, it was a dollar a car.  So kids would hide in the trunk, hoping not to get caught. Once past the eagle-eyed gate attendant, they sought out their friends and had good clean fun.  And if you went with your girlfriend, it was just such a simpler time...a time when getting to second base was a big deal.

I have two early memories of movies that I saw as a kid.  The first was American Graffiti, released in 1973.  My parents took Matt and me to the Indian Drive-In in Phoenix.  It used to be at 4141 N. 27th Avenue.  Now, there is a sleazy Motel 6 and these apartments on the site.

My other memory is going with my Uncle Red to see Star Wars at the Cine Capri at 20th Street and Camelback Road (also torn down).  I think that was in 1977.

I think that a terrible thing to see is an abandoned drive-in theater.  It really hits home the fact that I missed the boat.  I have posted some of these sad photos.  I have decided that when the Pickle gets running, I want to get with some of the car clubs in Phoenix and see if we can't have some sort of fund raiser/car show at one of the few remaining drive-ins.  Maybe show American Graffiti.

Maybe some day, I will be sitting in the Pickle watching this trailer...or better yet, the movie itself.
